The Bairnsdale Kart Club adopted a new point system for the 2007 season with the emphasis on consistency.  The first year with the new point system has seen the same drivers who have previously dominated the season still finishing in the top three overall positions, but it has given drivers who have previously struggled to finish on the podium at our Club Days a chance to take home a trophy. 

The 2007 season point system is as follows.  20 points = 1st, 18 pts = 2nd, 17pts = 3rd with points paid to 19th position for each race.  At the end of the year you drop your worst round to give you your overall points result.
